How do they look when you lie on your back?
Those of you who had their operation a while back: How does it look when you lie on your back?
I have always been upset about how my breasts become completely flat when I lie on my back- but now I started worrying that they might look unnaturally stiff, or fall to the sides leaving a highway in between :/

I have a large gap between the breasts when I lie down. Hate it. The size of the pockets is affecting how much they can drift apart. Have pictures on my blog if you want to see. can email the blog to you if you want.

Thank you for the answer Malin88, and I would be glad if you can PM me the password for your blog.
About the gap; is it possible to adjust the pockets so that they don't move to the sides? Or is it unavoidable? :/

My breasts does not behave as my old natural. Natural breasts fall apart more and become more flat. Mine are quite soft and fall a parts a little but still you can tell they are fake when lying flat at my back.

Eileen: If the pockets becomes too large, it is because the surgeon. He makes the pocket for the implant. But the pockets may be larger if you do not have good support. The right bra size is important.

Juli11, Malin88 thanks for the comments.
The thing is, I am scared to death that my boobs look fake after the operation. I am not planning to tell anyone, except my boyfriend, and I don't want people to notice either. What is your experience with bikinis, in that case? any way to avoid the fake look when sunbathing?
and what if the boyfriend hates them afterwards...
oh i am getting so stressed and depressed over all this.. :(

Eileen, you need to take this fact into consideration, that no matter whether they slide apart or not, an implant is one unit, with a very solid membrane, so it can never part and flatten out. The higher the profile of the implant, the higher it will rise above your chest when lying on your back. And I'd say it looks even more fake when they DON'T slide to the side. Nobody has natural breasts that don't move with gravity.
Now, some consider this the ideal - and I am not judguing preferences here. But it seems to me that you wish for a natural result, and I'd hate not to let you know in advance what you will find obvious once you have had the surgery. People squeeze the implants and find them appeallingly soft, but they don't put them under a blanket and try to flatten them, for instance.
If you still consider surgery, knowing this, you may want to opt for a low profile implant. But then again, what suits you best depends on your present breasts and the choice of placement you pick - please do read a lot about this, as the placement also greatly influences the "behaviour" of your breasts. A wild guess from me would be you could prefer a subglandular placement; so I'd strongly recommend you to find a surgeon who is equally open to both placements, and ask him what he thinks about them in your case.
Considering your weight and measures, I'd guess you don't have much excess fat, but IF you had a little accumulated fat somewhere whcih they could easily "harvest", you could transplant your own body's fat into your breasts. But that never gives the same size increase, you may gain a cup size at best. But they'd be all yours and behave naturally. And so tiny scars, nobody could ever tell.

Marina,
Thank you soo much for taking the time and commenting. Especially since it made me realize two very important things: 1. I really need to go to a consultation and hear what the doctor suggests and 2. Set my expectations based on that and as realistically as possible.
I have been so convinced that I would have this operation at some point since I was 15, and just kept thinking that it was a matter of time and money. Thus, I find it hard to face that I really need to consider every aspect and make a rational decision as to whether I should do this or not. But yeah, thanks again :)
