Släta ich texturerade
Vad är skillnaden mellan släta och texturerade implantat? Läste lite trådar och förstod att jag missat att kolla upp det på konsultationen.

Vet att texturerade minskar risken för kapslar, därför har jag valt texturerade. Jag vet inte så mycket mer heller.. missade att fråga om det & om muskelpåverkan.

Texturerade ger mindre risk för kapsel. På Proforma får man täcka försäkring á 3000 kr mot kapselkontraktur om man har texturerade men eftersom risken ökar så pass med släta gäller den inte för släta implantat hos dem. En fördel med släta är dock att de ger mindre synbar rippling. Texturerade ger grövre medan släta ger fler men mindre vågor. Jag har ingen kännbar eller synbar rippling alls ännu med mina texturerade bakombröst ännu. Hoppas jag slipper undan :)

Eventually it was learned that while the texturing did indeed decrease the early hardening of the scar capsule, that was only delaying the onset, and eventually the breasts got hard in the same percentage as with smooth implants. In addition, the texturing of the surface often produced a very obvious kind of rippling called "traction wrinkling" that was difficult to correct. Also, some reports indicated a higher failure rate with textured surfaces.
It should be noted that non-round implant shapes actually must have a textured surface to help decrease the chance that they will turn over or rotate inside the pocket.
